About XDtec Technical Services
XDtec Technical Services is an independent consultancy company set up in 2008 by Tim Sheldon, former Explosives, Weapons and Drugs Detection Programme Manager at the UK’s Home Office Scientific Development Branch (now renamed the Centre for Applied Science and Technology).  XDtec aims to provide impartial technical advice and services to government, law enforcement and industry, covering the development and use of security detection techniques such as:
